Chip is a VERY sweet boy. He loves to play (any time, anywhere), so he would do best with a family that can accomodate his active lifestyle. When it's time for bed, however, Chip is the first one ready, and he loooooves to cuddle (or at least curl up at your feet).

Chip saves his barking and howling for special occasions. Most of the time, he's a fairly quiet hound. He will bark occasionally while playing with other dogs. He also does not like being caged or left alone for long periods of time, and he will voice his opinion about it as a hound typically does. Because of this and his activity needs, we think that he would do best in a single family home with a fenced yard.

He will make a great pet for a family; he loves kids and other dogs. He is almost entirely potty trained, and he is working very hard on his manners. Chip will be a very loyal addition to a very lucky family. :)
