Joey was rescued just a couple of hours before he was gonna be euthanized at Stokes County animal shelter. he was filthy and he was skin and bones, but over the last month since being in his foster home he has gained really good weight and been cleaned up!
Joey has been an absolute delight to have in the Rescue so far, he gets along really well with the other dogs in his home. Joey has not met a stranger. He seems to love all people, including kids! 
Joey is also house trained and does not have to be kennel at his foster home, but we’ll go in a crate if he has to! He is a quiet guy for the most part, he will get excited and howl a couple of times when he knows it’s dinner time! he has really blossom over the last month of being in the rescue, he enjoys, laying outside in the yard in the sunshine but also chewing on his bones watching TV inside! 
Joey would make a wonderful addition to any family!
