Meet June. June was found alone and starving beside a construction site, painfully thin and clearly having had a rough start to life. Despite everything she’s been through, she’s a gentle soul who is slowly learning that people can be kind. June needs a patient, understanding foster who will give her the time and space to build trust and discover what it means to feel safe. She’s still figuring out how to “be a dog” and will thrive with calm guidance and consistency. June can be anxious around other dogs—not out of aggression, but uncertainty—so she’ll do best with someone who can help her gain confidence at her own pace. With patience and love, June has the potential to blossom into a loyal and deeply rewarding companion.
