This sweet mama and her five newborn puppies were rescued from a high-kill shelter in WNC when the babies were just one day old. Thanks to a kind foster, the whole family was saved from euthanasia and given the chance to grow up safe and loved.

Mama has been a devoted, gentle caregiver, and her pups are now healthy, playful, and nearly ready to find homes of their own! Each puppy has their own adorable personality, and all are learning about the world with curious noses and wagging tails.

The puppies will be ready soon for adoption, and mama will also be looking for her forever home once her babies are weaned and she’s had time to rest and recover.
