Zara is a estimated 6 year old Pomeranian. She was rescued from a huge puppy mill bust in TN with over 100 dogs on the property. Zara takes time to warm up and prefers female over males initially. She is overall a pocket full of sunshine and happy to be involved in whatever is happening. She does starle easily and takes time to gain a modicum of confidence in a a new space. She loves words of praise and sweet talk and well as food. Zara is a tripod, she had to get her leg amputated as when she was rescued it was discovered that her knee was injured for so long that the muscles and ligaments had contracted and wouldn't be usable even if the knee was fixed. This has not stopped her as she was essentially a tripod previously and adapted well to the now pain free three legged gait.

The adoption fee is $400, which covers vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.
