At just about a year old and weighing in at a perfect 50 pounds, Darla is the full package— a soft-hearted, soulful pup with a heart as big as her ears.

She’s cuddly, gentle, and endlessly trusting—a true testament to the resilience and love dogs have to give. Darla would gladly trade a game of fetch for a quiet moment curled up next to you. That said, she does enjoy her chew toys and a good romp around the yard, but make no mistake:  cuddles are her love language .

Smart and eager to please, Darla is house-trained, crate-trained (just give her a few minutes to settle), spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. She's also heartworm positive, but don't let that scare you- she's already started treatment, and with a little time, she'll be good as new. All she needs is a loving home to see her through it.
