1 year old Shadow is excited to become your new best friend! He is a very happy and energetic young dog whose hobbies include spending as much time as possible with you, sniffing and exploring outside, fetch (“drop it” is still a work in progress!), and chewing on any toy he can get his teeth into.  He is very active and enjoys running. He does best with an outlet—a job to do around the house, dog sports, jogging, etc. He is mostly potty trained with only a few accidents here and there. He is very smart and has attended several training sessions! Shadow is a people lover who does well with other dogs. He has not been around cats extensively but has encountered a few cats  and other small critters on walks and does not chase. Shadow has not lived with children but does love to be petted and played with by children as well as adults. His favorite type of toy is anything stuffed. Shadow loves treats and is very food motivated. Shadow has been crate trained but does not care for the crate.
