Good with Dogs

12/8/2025 Check out the progress Ellen's foster said she's made:

She is a snuggly puppy w me. She sleeps under my covers and us now always close to me on the couch trying to be my number one dog

Other people can touch her and she will go up to people to sniff but that’s it. My daughters have walked her

She walks and can now pass the playground and are ok w people walking by her. She us not freaking out when kid are riding their bikes ect

She will still need a longer period getting use to a new person and will be good in a house w a yard, other dogs and lots of walks!!

She will not be good w kids in the house.

She will still be a flight risk , but she will come back when she gets to know the area. Unfortunately we did test that one day!! She will come to me without any issues

 
Ellen is a fantastic, fun, and wide open little dog. She's super happy and loves to be in the room with all the activity and action. She plays well with other dogs, is house trained, and is FUNNY. She's a constant companion and brings lots of life to any room she's in. 

As much as she loves people and wants to be with her people, she doesn't love being picked up and isn't too interested in pets from strangers. She is HIGHLY food motivated and we're making lots of progress with treats and patience. 

If you love energetic little dogs, understand a bit of fear, and want a best friend forever, Ellen might be your girl!
