After giving birth on Christmas Eve, Hazel and her seven puppies made their way up to North Carolina from Louisiana in search of their forever homes. Hazel is as sweet as can be, and she only gets sweeter as her personality blossoms. Hazel is potty trained, crate trained, and does great in the car. She does amazing walking on a leash and has not pulled her foster mom once. Hazel has allowed her foster mom to cut her nails & brush her teeth with no complaints. While Hazel is shy around people at first she will love you with her whole heart once she gets to know you. She is currently in a foster home with two dogs and a cat, and has become best friends with all of them. She is very gentle, and will let you know she is happy with some tippity taps, fully body wiggles, and the cutest smile. Hazel is pretty independent, doing her own thing during the day while her foster mom works. She will come up to you for pets and love when she wants it, then she is content to sleep next to you on the couch. Right now Hazel needs to put on some weight, so she enjoys snacking on cheese and peanut butter. Hazel is spayed & up to date on all vaccinations. Hazel is currently undergoing treatment for heart-worms and receives a pill twice a day (which she easily takes with some cheese or peanut butter).
