What a difference a couple of weeks make!  Kashi joined our program scared of humans and the world around her.  Now she is a fun loving puppy who will happily nibble your toes, plop in your lap or engage in a round of tug of war.  I have no doubt she will be shy in new surroundings but it will only be temporary.  She will warm up given time.  She has seen the beauty of humans, LOVES other dogs and once she feels secure in her environment she will steal your heart.  Kashi is doing excellent with potty training and leash walking.  She is a smart girl and treat motivated.  She does not have an aggressive bone in her body.  She didn't make a peep when she first arrived.  Now, she speaks up if she is unhappy.  I think it's fair to say she has done a 180.  Whereas she used to want to be in her pen away from all things scary, now she wants to be in the thick of it all!  The vet has given her a clean bill of health despite her rough start with a possible scar on her front paw.  Anyone who is looking for a beautiful dog and is willing to give her time to feel secure in her new home, Kashi is the one!
