Karly is a true Rescue dog. She didn't have all of the advantages in life and came to Pawfect Match Rescue & Rehabilitation in poor health, scared and pregnant. Although all of her babies did not survive, those that did have been closely cared for within the PMR&R family. Karly's foster family has focused on her rehabilitation and care. Karly is still apprehensive about meeting new people, but she is a loving girl who is smart and loves her new found world of a warm home, good food, a soft place to curl up during the day and a family who loves her. Snuggling up close is one of her favorite things. Karly is a "diamond in the rough" who will make a rewarding addition to the right family situation. She would do best with an experienced "dog owner" and she sometimes is defensive around smaller dogs. She does get along well with the two cats in her foster home and the two 15 lb. adult Foster family dogs that stay with her during the day. You'll never find a more appreciative dog, who in spite of rough beginnings, has the heart to try and to grow, and to give back in kind all of the love she so richly receives and deserves.
