Yazhi means little one, which is what she was when she came to us, and boy was she a mess! She was skin and bones, had a horrid eye injury, significant leg deformities and major skin issues. Although she wound up losing an eye, the rest of her issues are resolving themselves with proper veterinary care and good nutrition. Despite her horrid life before coming to us, this girl is a trooper and loves life, all dogs and people!!! She is a total doll and she knows it! We originally thought she would be a surgical candidate as a result of her leg deformities but after consulting with our vet as well as a very reputable orthopedic vet, we have determined that surgery is not in her future based on her significant progress since we have taken her in. She will always be a little vision impaired and walk funny so she has a hard time navigating stairs as a result but she is an amazing little girl and would love to have her very own forever home! If you are looking for a total lovebug with a few imperfections, Yazhi is your girl! She makes up for her short comings with her amazing outlook on life and will love you forever!
