Golden Retriever / Labrador Retriever / Mixed : : Female (spayed) : : Baby
Meet Willow! She is an amazing 2.5 year old lab mix (Golden Retriever, Labrador Retriever/Feist), who is as sweet as can be. She loves her people, and enjoys walks, playing fetch with a squeaky ball, eating baby carrots and bananas, and relaxing around the house. She is very well-trained and learns new things very quickly. She knows nearly 30 verbal commands and phrases, plus a number of gestural commands, and she is a very compliant dog. She has a touch of separation anxiety, but she is crate-trained for times when we are not at home for long periods of time. She does well with strangers, adult and child, outside the home. However, she does get very nervous with unfamiliar children in her house. She would be a great dog for a couple without children or who have grown children, or any home that is on the quieter side that would provide stability and predictability for her. She lives with a sister dog whom she loves, plays with and curls up with on a bed; however, she'd probably prefer a companion dog who is a little less energetic.
Her current family adores her and will gladly provide any background history you would need. She lives with three tween humans, and she has become overly stressed with their friends coming and going.
