Natasha is a beautiful, 3 year old girl who was rescued from Durham County Animal Protection. Natasha landed at Durham APS as a stray and remained there for several months as the staff was destined to find a way out for her!  Natasha is currently being fostered in a home with several other dogs, male and female, and she is adjusting slowly but surely. Shelter life has certainly taken a toll on Natasha's tolerance for a lot of dog energy, however, she continues to make improvement daily. Natasha has great leash manners and is proving to be extremely intelligent, as most German Shepherds are. She is crate trained and housebroken. Natasha has a moderate to high energy level and would do well in a home with other dogs of either gender, however, would also do well as an only companion. She has displayed little to no prey drive indicating that cohabitation with cats could be possible. She has an amazing recall ability and she is learning commands quickly.
