Baloo is a very friendly lab-pitt mix who is looking for a home where his owners will not leave him alone for long periods of time due to severe separation anxiety. He is fully house-trained and has not had an accident in the house since he was 6 months old.  He is crate trained and will sleep in one happily, provided someone is in the house.  Even if left alone at night in his crate, he is fine, but when he is crated during the day and left alone without adequate medication, he gets extremely upset.  He gets along well with other dogs and has been fine around ferrets.  He knows "sit", "shake", "wave", "roll over", and "down".  He will also respond to "stay" and will go in his crate when told "crate".   He LOVES people, has never bitten anyone, is not shy or nervous around strangers and puts up well with nail clipping, baths, and blood draws/vaccines.  He is up to date on HW and flea/tick preventative, was HW neg on his last check in September, and is current on vaccines.  He currently eats Purina Pro Plan Shredded Chicken food and while he likes his food, he's not a glutton and has had problems with weight control.  He knows how to fetch but sometimes gets too distracted to bring the ball back.  During the day, he likes to sleep at your feet, but will occasionally come up and put his head on your lap for a scratch behind the ears.   Baloo is a really good dog- he would probably be most happy placed with a family because he loves attention!
