Wilbur is a shepherd mix who is gentle and sweet.  He loves to run around the yard and play with other dogs, so home with a fenced in yard and doggie companionship would be Wilbur's ideal forever home. He also loves children, so he would like little human siblings too, but this is not a requirement. He is easy going and loves to play with toys.  He will do an occasional bark if he sees someone or has been crated and you return to let him out, but his barking is not excessive.  He has been neutered and does not mark, he also knows how to use a doggie door, and he is crate trained and sleeps through the night (preferably snuggled up in your bed). However, we do think that he was mistreated as a young puppy, since he still has some issues with submissive urination. He will need a patient family to work with him during his adjustment period to a new home, but he will be a wonderful, loving companion.
