Heather is a puppy mill survivor.  She was turned into the shelter along with her mate Oliver when they no longer were making any puppies. :(  She was extremely matted and flea infested, thus the shorter hair for now :). She's a very sweet girl that needs to learn trust and love.  We are showing her both. 
Heather is heartworm positive and is undergoing heartworm treatment.  We will do a foster to adopt contract until treatment is completed.
