Sparky needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Poor Sparky was taken to his vet's office to be euthanized because his previous owners did not want to deal with his skin allergies any more - even though they had stopped treating him several months before. Thankfully the vet saw what a wonderful dog Sparky was and convinced the owners to surrender him instead of euthanizing him. Sparky is now getting the treatment he needs for his skin and is making great progress. He is a very smart boy who knows all sorts of commands and is housebroken. He is a little shy when he first meets people but it doesn't take long for him to warm up. He has not had a whole lot of social skills with other dogs but we are working with him on that.
