9/15/11 Bones are healed!  Hard splints are off and soft splints are on!!

9/9/11  Doc went in for new splints and wraps today.  10 more days he goes back for x-rays!  Fingers crossed he'll get those things off then!!

8/30/11  Doc went back to the vet today.  He was starting to outgrow his splints and was in some discomfort.  So he got new green legs today :)  Boy has gained 3 pounds in a week....stay tuned!

UPDATE:  Doc is adjusting to his new "legs".  It was a rough couple of days but he's starting to get around well.  He will be in his splints for 3 to 4 weeks with vet visits in between for bandage changes, etc.  Because of this we will not process his applications until he has been cleared for adoption by our vet.  Please be patient as I can tell you, this boy is worth the wait!

Doc came to us today 8/20/11 with 2 broken front legs.  He'll be going back to the vet on Monday and have them splinted.  The vet says he'll be good as new in 3 weeks or so.
