When Abby came to us she had a very large bulge on her belly that took up the entire right side of her body. We took her to the vet the very same day and they told us that it appeared she had no abdominal wall. When they were prepping her for surgery they found a huge scar on her back and once inside saw that she had a large hole in her abdominal wall and her intestines were hanging out. This was caused by some sort of "mauling" at a very young age as she is only around 10 weeks old now. The Vet was surprised that she survived that attack. Her surgery was a success and she should have no lasting effects of the attack at all. The surgery hasn't slowed her down at all according to her foster mom. She's one tough puppy!
