As you can see, Roz is a gorgeous Siberian Husky. She is about 5 years old, fairly laid back, and housebroken. Roz is extremely affectionate and devoted to her people and likes nothing more than to cuddle. In fact, she thinks she’s a lap dog sometimes! Roz had a very rough start in life and has been waiting too long to find a home of her own. Nearly three years ago, she was found tied to a fence with a broken leg, wounds on her body, and pregnant. Once healed, she was adopted but sadly returned to us due to a divorce. Still she waits for her forever home and a permanent stable life. Roz is a typical husky, very smart, loyal, and loving. She knows her basic commands such as sit, shake, and down, and she does well walking on a leash. Roz is an escape artist when contained in a small area or room and has not adapted well to being in a crate, however because she has excellent house manners, containment is unnecessary. Likely because of her rough start, Roz wants to be with her people and needs a routine and structure in her life. She would not do well if left alone for long periods of time and her family should expect that she’ll need a little time to adjust. She will pay you back with affection, loyalty, and adoration. Roz is on an inexpensive anti-anxiety medication ($10 for a 90 day supply.) Roz loves to ride in the car and would ideally benefit from having a fenced backyard and a playmate her age or younger. She can be somewhat particular about her dog buddies but typically does fine when introduced properly. As with most huskies, she would do best with an experienced dog owner and in a household with adults and older children. Won’t you consider adding this beautiful, sweet girl to your family? Please come meet her and you will see why we love her so much! |
