Sophia is brand new to the rescue. She is by far the shy one of her litter, but a real lovebug once she trusts you. Because she is still quite unsure of new situations and too much excitement, she will do best in a quiet home with no kids.

UPDATE: Sophia is still very weary of strangers and very nervous about being picked up. Once she is comfortable with you, she is a sweet, loving pup, but still does not want to be picked up at all. Sophia will need a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe and comfortable. It is possible that this home could include children, as long as they were very gentle with her and were consistent with making her feel comfortable. She will not do well in a home with overzealous children that move too fast, or with children who insist on picking her up.
