Morpheus got his name (the god of dreams) because that is his favorite pass time.  He was rescued with his foster sister who were found wandering on a farm where they were going to be shot my nearby cattle farmers.  They were rescued by their foster parents from certain death and taken home.  After much needed TLC they are ready for their forever homes. Morpheus is a big baby and spends most of his time sleeping, going from spot to spot for his naps.  He is house trained and has been living inside with his foster family with no issues.  He is currently learning basic commands and how to walk well on a leash (he doesn't mind it but he tends to like to stop and sniff the flowers a lot :).  He gets along great with his foster siblings (3 larger dogs and one smaller) playing with them and watching with interest.  We were told that he and his rescue sister liked to chase cats however, so no guarantees on that.  As far as we can tell he is about 2 years old and a yellow lab mix- possibly with corgi because of his shorter stature.  This little boy is simply a lover, all he wants is a cool place to nap and someone to pet him.  Morpheus would be great for a family that needs a lower energy dog that is still young.  He will be ready for adoption as soon as her recovers from his neutering (6/15).  Please find a place in your heart and home for this amazing little boy- he deserves a great home with lots of love!
