Waylon is a 5YO registered male feist (squirrel dog). Fine-boned and sleek, he weighs just 20 pounds, and is the color of dark chocolate. Because of his bloodlines he has not yet been neutered. Although he is friendly and enthusiastic about meeting new people, Waylon is protective of his family. He bonds easily with adults and is a reliable watch dog for the home or the car. He loves to ride in the car, and gets along extremely well with other dogs and cats. The white hairs on his muzzle and chest are part of his natural coloration and not indicative of his age. Waylon is housebroken, sheds very little, and has no fleas or parasites. He is current on shots and his health is excellent. Waylon will do best as a one or two-person dog in a quiet home where he can have lots of individual attention. Waylon is not appropriate for a family with small children. He has separation anxiety issues, so he needs to have someone home during the day with him. He would be ideal for an adult or older couple seeking a small companion animal that doesn’t mind traveling with the family. Waylon is a courtesy listing.
