Kane was dumped at the shelter because he had neurolgical issues associated with HOD, a bone disorder in growing puppies. His owners said they couldn't deal with the head shaking and howling he did. :( Well, PMR rescued him from that shelter and had him evaluated at our local veterianarin where he was then referred to the NC State Vet School. He will begin testing this week to figure out the source of his issues. They could be caused from infections, virus's, or they could congenital and degenerative. We hope to get to the root of the problem soon. Kane is one of the sweetest, most loving Siberians we have had in a very long time. He doesn't know that anything is wrong with him, he's happy, playful, and full of life. Once we have a firm diagnosis we will make a determination as to whether or not he should be placed for adoption.
