Emmy Lou is an absolute sweetheart who will steal your heart the moment you meet her. This fun gal is likely a Doxador (Dachshund and Labrador) with a touch of Great Pyrenees in her background (based on a DNA test of one of her puppies and the extra dew claw). She may be pint-sized, but she’s overflowing with love and personality.

At first, she can be a little shy, but once she feels safe, her affectionate and playful nature shines through.  She’s wonderful with kids and other dogs, LOVES playtime, and will make you laugh with her adorable zoomies in the yard. Emmy Lou is great on the leash and enjoys being part of the morning walking gang. She's a great office mate and always happy to be by your side. She is crate-trained and settles in quietly at night.

With her big heart in a little body, Emmy Lou is truly one-of-a-kind and ready to bring endless love and joy to her forever family.

After 2 weeks with our family, she has settled into our routine. She'll sit for a treat and is learning to fetch. She enjoys playdates with some of the neighborhood dogs and chasing the kids from next door around the yard. She could be the perfect dog for a family with kids or other dogs.
