Meet Rockie!

Rockie is a 2-year-old sweetheart who is ready to find his forever family. We found him scared and alone in the middle of the road, but he has blossomed into the most loving companion.

When Rockie first meets you he will be quite scared. He can nip at strangers at first, and will require time to warm up to you. Because of this Rockie will require a trial period with potential adopters so that we can ensure that bond forms! Once he knows you, Rockie turns into a velcro dog! He loves nothing more than being close to his person, whether that’s snuggling on the couch or following you around the house. Rockie is gentle and patient with kids, gets along well with other dogs, and even lives peacefully with our pet rabbit!

At heart, Rockie is a loyal little shadow who will stick by your side through thick and thin (he just needs time to get that way with you!) He’s looking for someone who wants a devoted best friend and cuddle buddy.
