Hi, I’m Copper—a handsome boy with a coat as rich and striking as my name. If I could tell you my life story, it would be full of chapters… some harder than others. Thankfully, Pawfect Match has been working tirelessly to help me leave those tough memories behind and start fresh.

I’ve successfully completed an in-home enrichment and training program with Jeff Coltenback, giving me a strong foundation for life in a home environment. To help my future family feel confident and prepared, you’ll receive an exit video that walks you through my daily routine and everything I’ve worked so hard to learn. It’s a win-win: you get helpful guidance, and I get the consistency I need to continue being the very best boy. I also come with FREE lifetime training support via call, text, email, or Zoom. If in-person sessions are ever needed, they’re available at a discounted rate through Jeff.

A little more about me: like everyone, I have a few quirks—and a bit of puppy energy still shines through. I’ve discovered how fun toys can be, especially Kongs filled with treats and snuffle mats that keep my brain busy. I enjoy a good game of tug-of-war, though fair warning—I really play to win, so fingers should stay clear! I love chasing a ball, even if I haven’t quite mastered bringing it back yet. Think of it as my way of helping you get some extra exercise.

I’m eager to please, thrive on praise, and I’m highly treat-motivated—which makes training fun and rewarding for both of us. If snacks are involved, I’m ready to learn just about anything.

As for other animals, I may not be the best match for a home with cats (though I haven’t been officially cat-tested). I do well with other dogs, both male and female, and tend to respond best to calm, well-balanced companions. To ensure everyone’s comfort and safety, we do require a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs.

Copper is ready and waiting for a loving family to call his own—one filled with patience, plenty of treats, and exciting new adventures. Could that be you?
