Hello! My name is Ollie.

I am not sure why, as I am a girl! Perhaps that is a nickname for Olivia, Olga, Olympia, or Olive. As you can see from my professional photos*, I am an exquisite, silky haired, Yorkshire terrier, about 9 years of age. Currently I reside with a foster family consisting of two humans, two chihuahuas and THREE CATS! They are all acceptable companions (even the cats). Previously, I lived in a dirt backyard with many other dogs. I had lots and lots of puppies, but never got to keep any of them. The living conditions were dreadful (hot in summer, cold in winter and muddy when it rained or snowed)! My foster humans are keeping me well fed, clean and groomed, treating me for heart worm, and love to snuggle me! I finally have the royal treatment I deserve!

And yet, there is still something I want  .  .  .  .  .

                            a forever family of my own!

Ollie is learning all about being a companion dog! We are working on house training, leash skills, socialization, and separation anxiety—she likes to sing the song of her people if left alone! In the 3 weeks she has been with us, Ollie has made great progress. Along with being beautiful, she is also very lovable.
