Chihuahua / Mixed (long coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Small
Bambi was observed running as a stray with another dog when she was hit by a car. Two veterinarians were unwilling to operate, but the third one agreed to. She was diagnosed with a fractured pelvis, and during the operation the surgeon learned that the fractures were even worse than originally thought. Following surgery, poor Bambi was on strict crate rest, only allowed to go out to potty on a leash and/or to stand in order to keep her legs limber and strong. Bambi is very sweet natured. She rarely barks. She makes these cute little "murmur" sounds. Her foster will be having a very difficult time giving her up for adoption, but has to because of the number of other pets in the home/ More about BambiGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Adults, Good for Seniors/Elderly, Somewhat vocal, Does Good in the Car, Leashtrained, Cratetrained, Likes to be in your lap, Apartment OK, Playful, Affectionate, Even-tempered
