Cheese Biscuit is about 10 months old & 40 pounds and came to us from Western North Carolina following Hurricane Helene. Cheese Biscuit did not have a good life before, or after Helene. Another dog from the same home as Cheese was shot and killed in a drug deal gone bad. Following that incident, the owner was ordered to surrender his animals and Cheese Biscuit was one of them. Currently, Cheese Biscuit has lyme disease & anaplasmosis, but both are being treated and were caught in time to be cured.
