Sammi is a sweet, loving boy who was found as a stray with his buddy, Pop. Despite his rough start, Sammi has shown that he has a heart full of love to give. He thrives on affection, enjoying every pet and snuggle that comes his way.

Sammi gets along great with other dogs and loves relaxing with his foster family. While he can be a little shy or skittish around men at first, once he warms up, you’ve won him over! He enjoys going for walks, is good on a leash, and loves exploring the surroundings. We’re still working on his house manners, but he knows basic commands and is comfortable using the doggy door. He sleeps soundly in his crate all night and seems quite at ease there. Though he hasn’t been introduced to cats yet, his gentle and playful nature makes him a delight to be around.

Sammi’s DNA test revealed he’s 14% Chihuahua, but he’s a true mix with several other breeds, including shepherd. Despite his petite size, Sammi’s short, fuzzy coat and unique blend of charm and cuddliness make him stand out.
