Fred was rescued after he was wandering in the fields in Enterprise, AL but is now in Apex.
He was fearful and covered in ticks and fleas. In no time and with some good care he became healthy and energetic. Fred is a little unsure of new people but if he's allowed the space and people are patient, he comes around.
Fred would do really well with a family/couple/individual who can give him adequate exercise (will walk for 2-3 mile and does well on the leash), who loves affection, and has space to run. He has done really well with children.
Update 6/8/24: Fred seems to do well with other dogs. He has recently been to the beach and loved it. He is becoming more comfortable and seeking out people's affection. He also does great in the car!
