Gracie came to us after an absolutely terrible week. Her beloved owner passed away. She went to the home of her owner's daughter before being taken the the local shelter. Then, her owner's granddaughter busted her out and gave her a safe place to sleep for a night before bringing her to her Pawfect Match foster.

When you get Gracie to love you it will make you melt. Not everyone passes her test. So, when you do it is really special. She loves hard and does not like to share her person. She needs to be your one and only.

Her favorite is to sit with you. Anywhere you like, as long as it's touching. You can even use her as a book rest. Wanna play? Sure, she's up for whatever makes you happy. She just wants to please the person she loves.

Gracie does not trust children or guests. She would prefer a house that does not host lots of different people. A few close friends are more her speed. When she meets new people she will bark and give warning growls that need to be respected.

She sleeps peacefully in her crate all night. She will wake you up if she needs to go out, but will politely go back in her crate and stay quiet until you are ready to get up for the day. She adjusted very quickly to our schedule and almost always sleeps until we get up.

All dogs require human responsibility with their potty needs. However, I can confidently say she is potty trained.

This little nugget is fully vetted, spayed, emotional therapy dog certified, and even knows a few party tricks. She is a very easy, low maintenance dog.

Her shelter paperwork says she is half Chihuahua and half Yorkshire terrier. But, I think she's a Chiweenie.
