Kiba is the absolute sweetest!  It's hard to imagine the awful puppy mill environment she was rescued from.  She has managed to escape it mainly unscathed emotionally.
Kiba is being a great mom to her only pup.  She's very protective of her and keeps eyes on her at all times.  I think this is because they didn't have any "private" space at the puppy mill.  Now she has a nice warm pen with plenty of food and water and she doesn't have to share with anyone but her baby!
Kiba is new to the rescue and is settling in remarkably well.  She will be vetted soon and once her baby is weaned will be ready for a loving home of her own.
