Mr. potato head is a gorgeous lowrider staffie mix with one brown and one blue eye.  We think he was purposefully dumped in a relatively wealthy neighborhood on a rainy, cold day..   He came to us with some scrapes and bumps indicating he had suffered some sort of trauma.    He has a limp in his left leg which should heal on its own, but we do have a surgical consult scheduled.  The rescue and Potato’s foster mama are fully committed to helping him be as “good as new.”

potato is exceptionally calm and very timid.   He loves other dogs and responds well to food.   he has such a quiet, gentle soul, and spends most of his day, laying in his crate.   We don’t need to close the crate, he just likes the comfort of a little cave.   Potato is wearing a belly band as to not force too much leash walking while his leg heals.    We will work on house training once his hip is a little better.      But he is an incredibly easy dog to care for and really just wants to cuddle with you on the couch.   He is the very best movie buddy.   He loves bathing in the tub. While he has not been exposed to cats, he is incredibly gentle and has no prey drive that we can see
