Venus is a pup who at just under a year old found herself a mother. Her first family raised her as an outside dog and she was doing her best to keep her puppies warm and fed on cold evenings in the dirt in someone's backyard. We brought her, her puppies, and her very pregnant sister to pawfect match to raise their pups and find better lives. Those days are behind and she is ready for a second chance in life!

So far, in her foster home, we have discovered two things Venus truely loves, hugging her human and sniffing the yard. She does love to lean into a good snuggle and stays super close once she knows a human is safe. She wants to be connected and loved and has lots of love to give. She also loves to investigate and will spend as much time as we're willing to stay out with her checking out all the things to smell in the yard.
