Daisy was surrendered to the shelter with a shattered and broken femur.  We pulled her in hopes of saving her leg.  Our regular vet tried and couldn't fix it so we transfered her to the NC Vet School in hopes that they could.  Surgery was successfull albeit expensive.  She will need long term professional rehabilitation and lifelong care of her repaired limb.  Later in life, osteoarthritis is going to set in and treatment will be needed.  Please, please, do NOT apply to adopt our sweet Daisy if you do not have  the resources OR the ability to care for her now and long term throughout her life.
Daisy is a typical 5 month old puppy that is full of life and love. She is an awesome pup and everyone that meets her or works with her is in LOVE with her.
