Sour Patch has been worked with and is now ready for her new family! She had 2 adorable babies and done with her mommy duties. She was nipping but now is loving everyone she meets, giving them kisses and humans are now safe to her. We want her in a home that will keep her socialized so she doesn't go back to nipping. She had a rough start and now deserves the best life can give her! Sour Patch is a mix of a chihuahua and wired hair fox terrier. She is around 7 pounds fully grown. The Chihuahua Terrier Mix is not a dog that is suited to family homes with young children. This dog will do best in an active, adult-only household. Chihuahua Terrier Mixes can be wary of strangers and other animals. They can get yappy and bark at those who they don’t trust, even going as far as nipping at humans or other animals. This is why socialization from an early age is so important. You should introduce them to new sights, sounds, places, smells, people and animals in a safe and controlled way until they understand that there is nothing to be afraid of. Chihuahua Terrier Mix is a very active dog and therefore they have quite high exercise needs. These dogs have a lot of energy and they will like to go walking and will love to join you while you are out exercising, too. It is a good idea to keep them on a leash when you are exercising them in public spaces — they can bark at other dogs and have a tendency to chase things. Proper socialization from a young age will help with this, too
