Millie is being returned to the rescue after almost a year.  Resident child has developed allergies.  Here is what her family has to say about her:

Millie loves to play fetch, carry sticks around the yard, play chase with other dogs, and spend as much time as possible outside. She does enjoy cuddling and will seek out snuggling you any chance she can when inside. She is very food motivated and enjoys all kinds of treats especially frozen kongs with pb in them. Millie has a sensitive stomach and will occasionally have loose stools. Her stomach will become upset if she eats fattier treats so she is used to the healthier treats. She is good about telling you when she needs to use the bathroom by going to the door and sitting. She has both slept in our bed and in a crate and does fine with both. We have found that having her sleep in our bed has been easier for her to wake us up in the night if she needs to use the bathroom.  

Mille loves to play and is great with children. Sometimes Millie does not know her size and knocks over younger kids without meaning to. She is not at all aggressive and is a very pleasant dog. If she has not gotten enough exercise she will chew toys, books, and other small items. Millie rarely has accidents but if she is not feeling well she may need to use the bathroom more. She is very friendly with new people and we have been working with her on not jumping up to show her excitement. She attended a puppy training course and did learn to sit. She walks well on a leash if she is allowed to be in the front of the group (if there is a group of people walking). She loves other dogs and would do well with another larger dog who likes to play and wrestle. She does well in the car if she can see out the window or sit with someone.
