Rufus needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Rufus is the sweetest, most floppy goofball. He'll play fetch with you until the cows come home and especially likes to combine his two loves by flopping right into your lap with his toys after he retrieves it so you can love on him for a job well done! At his foster home, Rufus likes to play with his foster cat & dog siblings but Rufus said if you can keep a secret, he thinks they're kind of old & boring. Rufus would ideally like a playmate whose just as goofy as him to roughhouse with.
Rufus is a quick-learner and loves to please. He is crate trained & has learned a few commands so far. He's working on more commands to show off to his new family. Rufus is still working hard on potty training. He is accident free both overnight (in his crate) and during the day as long as he's taken out every 3-4 hrs.
Rufus likes to pretend that he's shy at first when meeting new people or furry friends, but a few minutes (and treats!) later and he'll be your best friend. Rufus does well in the car - he goes to the office with his foster mom and is always on his best behavior.
