Sugarfoot, or Sugs as we call her, is a super fun cuddly little dog. She’s agile and fast and wants nothing more than to hang out with people that love her (and will hug her!)

 

She is full of personality and spunk and has never met a human stranger. She runs right up to people expecting all of us to love her. If you don't pet her fast enough, she might bark at you to make sure you see her! 

 

She does really well on a leash and has been a favorite at the vet. She has great recall and LOVES treats. Her food motivation is strong and can surely be used to teach her all sorts of tricks. 

 

Sugs was a stray and spent a good part of her life outside. She came to us pregnant and lacking any house manners. She was an amazing mom and now that her pups have moved on, we’re working on living in a house. She realizes the house is great and would far rather be in than out. She still needs to figure out where to potty and what furniture is dog friendly. You’ll also want to be prepared for a streetwise dog that knows how to wiggle in and out of places she wants to. She can weary of new dog friends, but typically warms up quickly.

 

She’s totally worth the effort. A true companion through and through. She’ll make you laugh, keep you warm, and never stop with the kisses!
