My name is Dixie and I'm just one energenic ball of love. I was rescued from a family that kept me tied to a tree all summer long in the NC heat and humidity.

My foster mama, Hannah, says that I would be best as an only dog only because of how much I love MY human(s). I can get a bit jealous if I feel i have to compete for your love, attention, and/or food. However, I love play dates, weekend sleepovers, being boarded, and even my crate if ya can beleive it!

An apartment/townhome would be perfect for me as I always want to be close to you and I've been known to escape the yard by hopping over or crawling under fences. A leash is a must for me but I don't mind. 

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATIONS:
-No other dogs (needs to be an only dog)
-No children 
-Willing/able to get her groomed on a regular basis 
-Must be able to provide an abundance of exercise
