This girl has shown her loyalty more than anyone could ever understand.  April was found in SC, sitting by her dead daddy, who had a heart attack. She had to be carried away from her dad’s side. She is housetrained and likes all dogs and cats. She is about 2 years old and an unimaginably sweet girl. If you are interested in her to either foster or adopt, please let us know. You will not be sorry.

She is looking for that furever home that will:

1. Allow her to snooze on the couch. (AC, Netflix and all the throw pillows the commercials make fun of you for having, are ALL her new best friends)
2. Lay her head on your knee when you sit down
3. Offer a few “stuffy” toys for her to allow her inner child to show, even just for just a few minutes.
4. Take her for car rides. This girl LOVES to ride passenger.
5. A fenced in yard for her to stroll and sunbath (preferred, not required)
6. Honestly, a man, if there is a man in the furever home, she will be as happy as the bachelorette this season. (And there are two of them, so that is pretty dang happy)

A couple thing this girl does need to work on:

1. Leash Training: It is obvious April has never been leash trained and will need to work with adopters on how to properly walk. She has shown no signs of wanting to jump fence or bolt; however, this is something future adopters should take into consideration and understand.
2. Young Kids: April is very calm and would prefer a calmer household. Around younger and more active kids, April is timid and will try to find a quiet place to escape to.

In her foster home, April is a dream dog. She shows her love to her foster mom daily, is housetrained, has become easily accustomed to the schedule, never complains, and has shown her LOVE for the couch.
