Hello! My name is Ivy, and I am a 3 year old female Border Collie mix. I have been fixed, so no puppies for me! I do however love to play with puppies, dogs, and can peacefully coexist with cats. I also get along with children starting at age 2. I have not been around any babies yet, and am not sure how I would do. I DO NOT like small animals and need a home with no birds, bunnies, hamsters or other small animals. I am a smaller large breed dog, and I weigh around 50-55 pounds. I have a big, white smile, and have one ear that sticks straight up while the other flops down. I don't even make that much of a mess with my fur and am pretty low shedding. I am pretty active and love to run in a big yard and play fetch. The frisbee is my favorite and I will bring it back to you over and over again for as long as you can throw it. After playing in the yard and running around, my other favorite activity is snuggling up on the couch or in bed and watching a movie. I am potty trained and can be left out in the house for short periods of time, but anything longer than an hour or two, I get bored and would probably be more comfortable in a crate. I also know a couple of commands like "sit" and "shake". I walk very well on a leash and do the best with a harness. I was found as a stray, so a fenced in backyard is a must for me, or walking on a leash, but I do not do well off leash in unconfined areas. I am an outgoing and playful pup and can be vocal and "talk" when I want attention. Lastly, I've discovered what puppy cups are, and I love going on car rides if it means I get one!
