Brooklyn was one of over 160 dogs rescued from a SC puppymill.  Before being rescued Brooklyn led a sad life. Brooklyn was used to produce puppies. Now those days are over and she is looking for her furever home! It is time for this wonderful dog to live a life filled with love.

Brooklyn is a sweet mama dog with eyes that will melt your heart. She likes nothing better then to lay by your side or better yet with her head on your lap. Brooklyn loveas exploring our yard with our other dog, everything is new and exciting for her after years in a cage. We recently watched her do zoomies around the yard and play fetch.  Amazing to see her become a real dog and come out of her shell. With a family to love her and a canine friend to show her the doggie ropes Brooklyn will live the life she deserves. 

Right now we are continuing to reinforce her basic obedience, sit, down, stay and come. Brooklyn walks well on a lease and is getting better everyday. Brooklyn is crate trained, but it does take coaxing to get her in, guessing her past makes her a bit afraid she may not get out again.  However, when we are home she has free run of the house and has done amazing. Brooklyn gets along great with other dogs, she would like nothing better then to have a sidekick. She tries so hard to snuggle up to ours, but ours likes her space so Brooklyn lies next to her. We have 2 cats which she found interestinag but a quick "leave it" fixes that.

Brooklyn is wonderful with women, but she is still unsure of men.  So patience and love will be needed.  
Brooklyn is in the process of weaning her puppies and will be ready to find her home in about 2 weeks.
