Have you ever been body-slammed for cuddles by a muppet?

This loveable 'pocket Pyrenees came to us from the puppy mill situation in Pickens, SC.  At first, he was terrified, smelly, and shy.  After only two weeks in rescue, he has just BLOSSOMED and loves toys, showing his belly, patrolling the yard to bark at squirrels, and snuggles.  

This boy is great with dogs and has shown zero aggression to anyone.   While he has not been cat-tested, we expect he is likely to do well with them as he doesn't have a strong prey drive.  He is extremely smart and has learned how to use a doggie door after watching his foster siblings.

He is still a bit shy around new and tall people, but it is improving over time.  He very much wants to be with people and will whine if you exclude him.

Az probably never had a toy in his life, but now LOVES them and carries them all around the house. 

He lets himself outside to do his "doggie business" easily, but still has some marking issues due to a bad UTI.  Right now, Az is wearing a belly band much of the time but we are working on not peeing on things.  He will be neutered before adoption, which should help a lot.

We think Az might be ~4 years old- but it's just so hard to tell.  His eyes are clear and might be as young as 3.  He definitely plays like a younger dog.
