Molly is one of the dogs that came to us from the puppy mill bust in South Carolina.  Molly's litter of pups were taken away from her before they were fully weaned and she was covered in dirt and cuts when she came to her foster home. Because  of the conditions she came from, Molly has some quirks.
  • Molly will not go to home with a male dog.  It takes her a long time to warm up to male dogs and she does not ever get fully comfortable around them.
  • Molly can also be a bit food aggressive with her food in her bowl towards other dogs.  She hs been fine when we accidentally drop crumbs on the ground, but this is something that a new owner will need to monitor.
  • She will need to live in a home that is comfortable feeding their dogs separately.
  • Molly cannot go to homes with young children (< 7 years old)
  • Her age is just a guess -- she is between 2-4 years old.

She is a very loving girl who is working on potty training, crate training, and leash walking.  So far Molly has adjusted very well to living inside.  She loves to snuggle and follows her human foster sibling around like a shadow.  All in all Molly is especially lucky that she came out of the puppy mill situation relatively unscathed.  Some of the dogs that came to Pawfect have been completely shut down, but Molly still is very trusting and bright eyed. She has a sweet heart and deserves her happily ever after.

There may be more weird quirks that arrive over time and Molly's forever home will be a family that understands that and is willing to work with a behaviorist to help Molly acclimate to normal life if needed.

Could you be Molly's Pawfect Match?
