Stevie LOVES people and wants to meet everyone she sees while walking through the neighborhood. She has a very sweet temperament, loves to please, and learns very quickly. She’s very easy to redirect with a “no” if needed as she’s learning expectations.  She’s full of energy and is happy chasing a ball in the backyard or chewing on a toy inside. She is still learning the difference between a shoe and a toy and will shred soft toys and other objects, so she needs to be monitored to avoid eating something she can’t digest.  She is crate trained and since being on a routine and getting comfortable in her foster home she has not had any accidents in the house.  She’s learning how to walk on a leash without pulling and making very quick progress! She has not yet done any bathroom business while on a leash, so a fenced yard may be needed, at least until she is more comfortable with the leash.  She has some separation anxiety and would do best in a home where she is not left alone for long periods of time. She would LOVE to be in a home where there’s another young energetic dog to play with. She has not been around children, but given her temperament she would likely do well once she learns not to jump on people (she’s working on this and making progress!). She will attempt to chase cats, so she needs a home without any.
