Bas-eee, as we call him in his foster home, is a funny dog. He came to Pawfect in November 21 at four weeks old and has been waiting for his family since. He needs a family that "gets him". We're not sure why he hasn't been picked up, but have a guess......

-short coat without a signficant undercoat doesn't generate a ton of shed. Even better - no grooming!

-It's easy to spot any fleas, ticks, nicks, or other skin issues long before they become a problem

-no dingleberries - need we say more?  


Basil has some inate anxiety fear that has been with him from day 1. He's unsure in new situations and can be frightened easily. He will need a family that is fairly low key and willing to work with him while he settles in. In trade - he will give you a life of tail wags, graditute, and kisses. 

Basil does well on a leash with a harness. He can and will escape a collar. 

Basil has a ways to go on his potty training and will need some 1:1 attention to get it right. 

Basil is picking up sit, wait, and other basic commands. 

This boy is bound to be a best friend and confidant for a family that understands him and is willing to love him.
